Sedona, Arizona

If you've been around Courtney Elizabeth Photography for a little while, you know that I love traveling. Mostly, Andy and I love going places with gorgeous views and challenging hikes. Sedona, Arizona met both requirements and then some. Enjoy a few images from our trip...

"A cactus! Quick, pull over! We need to take a picture!"

Hiking to Devil's Bridge outside Sedona, AZ

Taking a "normal" family photo is just about impossible for my family

Exploring the red rocks of Sedona. This place is unlike any I'd ever seen.

The Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, AZ. It was designed by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright and it is beyond beautiful.

Inside the Chapel of the Holy Cross. We attended a Taizé prayer service, which is based on the meditative prayer that came out of a monastic community in France.

Early morning hike up to Cathedral Rock. This was our favorite hike in Sedona, and Andy and I did it twice during our time there.

One of my favorite things about Sedona was how the red rocks change colors because of the lighting all day long. This is Cathedral Rock, from two photos above, but the landscape looks so different because it was at sunset rather than sunrise.

The vegetation (is that what one calls cacti?) was so different and so beautiful.

When in Rome, as they say....

Apparently taking a Pink Jeep Tour is *the* thing to do. It was actually fabulous.

Montezuma Castle: Ancient cliff dwellings that were mysteriously abandoned about 800 years ago.

That Canyon sure is Grand.

Have you figured out yet that my family is ridiculous?

Explorers

Thanks, little bro.

Obligatory photo on the rim of the Grand Canyon.
