Road Trip Travels: On the Road to Rocky Mountain National Park
Better late than never, I suppose. Last September my mom, my son Jack, and I road tripped from California (where I shot a wedding in Santa Barbara) to Grand Lake, Colorado, which is right outside Rocky Mountain National Park. I'm planning to get back into sharing more client work after a few quiet months, but wanted to wrap up sharing these travel photos first.
Hiking on the Watchman Trail in Zion National Park
Exploring at the Fremont Indian State Park and Museum on the way from Zion to Moab. So many cool petroglyphs.
On the Mesa Arch trail in Canyonlands National Park.
Canyonlands stole my heart. It's this gorgeous area with all these canyons. We were only there for a few hours, but I can't wait to get back.
Double Arch in Arches National Park
Bath time in our Moab Airbnb, a tiny home.
And then we made it to Grand Lake, Colorado, on the western edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. The night sky was incredible.
Lots of hiking and shenanigans with my family.
If you ever struggle to get a decent family photo, know that you are not alone.
At the Continental Divide in Rocky Mountain National Park.
Trying to get a good family photo...
This was such an incredible trip and I'm so glad I was able to do it with my little one. We're heading to Great Smoky Mountain National Park in a few weeks so stay tuned for more travel photos!
