Scranton Wedding: Lauren & Josh

Lauren and Josh met at a wedding several years ago when he asked her to dance. She has spent the past year working at a school outside Philadelphia all week and then commuting to be with him near Scranton on the weekends, and you could tell how happy they are to *finally* be together. They chose not to see each other before the ceremony at Crossroad Assembly of God Church in Elmhurst, PA, but they did meet to exchange notes while she remained hidden. I love when grooms are willing to show emotion, and Josh couldn't help but get choked up when he saw Lauren being walked down the aisle by both her mom and dad. After the ceremony, the couple was whisked away in a gorgeous vintage car to the Elmhurst Country Club in Moscow, PA where they and their guests enjoyed multiple polkas as well as the tarantella! Lauren is Polish and Josh is Italian, and their families did a fabulous job of celebrating their culture.

Lauren and Josh - we were so honored to photograph your wedding. It has been delightful to walk alongside you through your engagement and I'm so excited to see where God takes you two! We love you!
