Great Smoky Mountains Couple Session: Greg & Lauren
I had the pleasure of photographing my brother Greg and his girlfriend Lauren while we were in Great Smoky Mountain National Park a few weeks ago. We went hiking together and these two are so adorable. It was so fun to get to know Lauren better and to get to explore with them at the same time. #courtneyelizabethphotography #couplesession

Christmas Mini Sessions
To be quite honest, when I first started thinking about doing Christmas Mini Sessions, I read what a lot of other photographers have to say about them, and it almost scared me away! I must have managed to find some of the most amazing clients, though, because I thought these were a blast! Here are just a few of my personal favorites from the day. When this family showed up all the way from New Jersey with this puppy and these outfits, I just about died and went to photographe

Autumn Green Lane Wedding: Sarah & Steven
Isn't love grand? Sarah and Steven's wedding was the perfect way to wrap up the year. The day was overcast and the leaves were brilliant. Sarah and Steven were married in a lovely little church in Quakertown, PA and celebrated their union with their closest family and friends. This is a couple that is comfortable in their own skin and finds joy in one another's company. I loved just stepping back and watching these two talk and cuddle. Sarah and Steven - thank you. I'm so gra

Wes & Olivia
These two are too adorable. Olivia tagged along for Wes's family's session a few weeks ago, and I was thrilled to have some time with just the two of them at the end. We got some of the most gorgeous sunlight, and it just brought out the way these two sparkle around each other. #courtneyelizabethphotography #couple

Kicking Off the Holidays!
I took a few days off last week to spend time with family and it was much needed and so wonderful! Thanksgiving Festivities with family and dear friends I was so excited with REI said they wanted their employees to #optoutside for Black Friday and get outdoors, so we joined in! Finally, we celebrated Small Business Saturday by going to our favorite local place to chop down a Christmas tree! It's always an adventure and this year we decided to do family photos while out gettin

Hunsberger Family
Fall is a fabulous time for family photos! The Hunsberger family was a blast as we played in the leaves, explored the creek, and took in some gorgeous views from a closed bridge, all right here in Montgomery county. Lori and Travis are such great parents and were more than willing to pull out their silliest dance moves to bring out the best smiles in their kiddos. I have so many photos of this family being awesome, but Christmas card season is approaching and I don't want to

Kutztown Engagement: Annie & Tom
Annie & Tom met and started dating just days before he was deployed. They dated throughout his time in several different countries, and are finally now in the same place together. I met Annie in grad school and she often talked about this Tom, but none of us had met him, as he was always overseas. I heard stories of heartache and deep devotion as they worked their way through a long-distance relationship. After several years of struggling through grad school together, I know

Lake Nockamixon Engagement: Katie & Cory
Several years ago I decided I wanted to be an art teacher, so I went through grad school, got certified, and got a teaching job at the local Christian school where I attended growing up. I'm now pursuing photography instead of teaching, but there are lots of reasons I'm glad I spent time in that elementary art classroom. One of those reasons is that I started wandering down the hall every day to see the music teacher, Miss Katie Lear. Katie was another young teacher, and I lo

New Jersey Beach Wedding: Breanna & Andrew
It was only fitting that Breanna, with her mermaid tattoo, and Andrew would get married on the beach. They chose to have a first look down by the water, and I love having a moment with the groom before he sees his bride. Andrew wasn't afraid to tell me that he was nervous, but I could also tell how excited he was. The two of them make a stunning couple, and when he makes her laugh, Breanna has one of the happiest smiles I've ever seen. After their ceremony, which was officiat

Green Lane Engagement: Leah & Quiggs
On the May afternoon when they got engaged, Quiggs serenaded Leah with Jack Johnson's song Better Together during a hike at Green Lane Park. It's so fitting that this is "their song" because these two really do seem better together. We hiked back to that same spot where they got engaged, and he picked a great location to pop the question because the autumn leaves look stunning on the lake at this time of year! At one point during our session I asked Quiggs to make Leah laugh,
